CrossFit Story: Growing up, I was a very active child.  Black belt in Taekwondo at the age of 10, and played many years of youth/adult basketball leagues.  After high school was when I started to become more interested in strength and conditioning.  My friends and I would go to the local gym not really having a plan of what to do or why we are doing it.  My CrossFit journey started shortly after, in 2011.  I was hooked after the first workout!  I soon realized that CrossFit was not just a strength and conditioning program and my box was not just a place to workout at.  CrossFit taught me commitment to myself and to my health, created new bonds of great friendships, and provided me opportunities that have been endless.  In 2013 we opened up BoomBox CrossFit SD, with the hopes to provide others the same opportunity and to spread the joy of fitness and health through CrossFit.  We are now going 3 years strong, and plan to continue changing lives, giving out the good vibes, and high fives.
